Towards the end of 2003, Red Hat separated its operations in two: Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the Fedora project. The Fedora project is the open source successor to Red Hat Linux 9. Just like Red Hat Linux was, Fedora is an excellent choice for a free server operating system.
A server with Fedora can be managed via SSH. Certain basic knowledge is required in order to properly configure and manage a Fedora server via SSH only. If your lack this knowledge, we recommend you use a Fedora Linux server with a control panel such as Plesk , cPanel , Ensim Pro or Ensim Basic.
