Adding DNS resolver addresses from the shell

To add or change DNS resolver IP addresses, follow the procedure:

 

1) Login to your server with SSH as root.

 

2) Open the file /etc/resolv.conf for editing in a text editor.

 

3) Edit the file and replace the IP address(es) in order to have the ones below.

 

    nameserver 64.15.133.148

    nameserver 64.15.133.149

 

4) Save the file and exit.

 

You can use the following KEKhost's resolvers:

 

Classic Servers: 64.15.133.148 and 64.15.133.149

 

Smart Servers: 70.38.0.3 and 70.38.0.4
