How to setup your website's Email for iPad and iPhone

These are steps to setup your website's email for iPad and iPhone

 

1) Open the Mac Mail application.

 

2) Click on File menu, then choose Add Account. First time users will be automatically prompted to create an account.

 

3) Under "Account Information", fill out the following information with your own:

 

    > Account Type: POP3 or IMAP

    > Email Address: mymail@mydomain-name.com

    > Incoming Mail Server: mail.mydomain-name.com

     > Username: mymail@mydomain-name.com

     > Password: mymailpassword

 

Note: POP uses port 110, IMAP uses port 143

 

4)  Select "Add Server..." from the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) pop-up menu. Here are the details for it:

 

     > Outgoing Mail Server: mail.mydomain-name.com

     > Server port: 25 or 26

     > Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): NO

     > Authentication: password

     > User Name: mymail@mydomain-name.com

     > Password: mymailpassword

 

Then press "OK." to save

 

5)   Back in the "Accounts" pane, switch to the "Advanced" tab and do not check the box marked "Use SSL" towards the bottom.
