Logging into cPanel

To log in to your cPanel account, you will need a username and password. These should have been created in WHM when the hosting account was created. To learn more about creating an account through WHM, please visit this article to view information about creating a new account.

You can log into cPanel a number of different ways. The simplest way is to use your domain appended with "cpanel", so if your domain name was mydomain.com, you would use this address:

    http://mydomain.com/cpanel

You can also use a port number instead, so if you were using mydomain.com, it would look like this:

   http://mydomain.com:2082

Alternatively, you could also use an IP address with either cpanel or 2082 at the end. In this example, we will use 10.10.10.10, but you would replace it with your server's IP address:

    http://10.10.10.10/cpanel

    http://10.10.10.10:2082

Finally, it is also possible to access your cPanel account using secure HTTP:

    https://mydomain.com/cpanel

    https://10.10.10.10/cpanel

    https://10.10.10.10:2082
